Thanks for your interest in Yucca Studio! We are Christian and Chelsea and Yucca is our passion project. At the moment our goal is to bring architectural and sculptural artistry to our hometown of El Paso, TX through the art of Blacksmithing. MEET THE ARTISTS

  • Co-Owner - Head Blacksmith

    Christian began his blacksmithing journey in 2016 at Austin Community College. The next few years were spent working with and learning from the talented smiths and fabricators that made up Austin Metal Authority. He has worked in various metal shops in Austin, New York City, and El Paso as well as attended workshops hosted by some the best blacksmiths in the industry. He currently devotes his time to Yucca Studio and El Paso Community College as a welding instructor.

  • Co-Owner - Marketing

    Chelsea grew up in El Paso, TX and received a BFA in Dance from UTEP. She lived in NY from 2016 - 2024 where she leaned into her gig lifestyle, gaining experience in a vast amount of work environments and skills. Blacksmithing is a new artistic venture she is excited to explore.

  • Apprentice

    I’m Jacqui! While exploring different careers, I crossed paths with Yucca Studio and was introduced to the lost art of Blacksmithing. Having always been interested in crafts and the arts, it was no surprise I took an immediate interest in fabrication and smithing! I’m so excited Yucca has given me the opportunity to express my creativity and ideas.
