This workshop will provide a hands on approach to blacksmithing from experienced blacksmith, Christian Asencio. Learn about making and using project specific tools, proper hammering technique and how to use the anvil and forge. If you’re completely new to blacksmithing or need a solid, thorough review, this class is for you! You will leave with a new skill and a handmade bottle opener. Duration: 4 hours *Beginner Blacksmithing workshop is required to take the Knife Making workshop
Provided items: all equipment and material + safety glasses
Required items: closed toe shoes (preferably boots), natural fiber clothing: long sleeve shirt & pants ie cotton/linen NO SYNTHETICS ie polyester/spandex
Please bring a water bottle. Snacks will also be provided.
